The Hobbit
I've tried to read this book many times, but I just can't get into it. I've given up because I guess it's not meant to be.

This is one of those books I wished would never end! I loved it as a child and I love it still.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
I went my entire 37 years without having ever read an Oz book, so now I'm making up for lost time. This one was very interesting and compelling enough that I have committed to reading the rest of the series. There's a lot more to Oz than what you see in the movie!The biography of L. Frank Baum is very interesting as well.
A Life on the Road
One of the greatest storytellers of all time. Anything he's written is well worth reading.
The Hot Zone: A Terrifying True Story
If the idea of a disease that causes people to bleed out under their skin freaks you out, then don't read this book.Otherwise, enjoy! :)

I found this book surprisingly good--in an Anne of Green Gables kind of way.
When the Sons of Heaven Meet the Daughters of the Earth
This is a book no one has ever heard of but me. :PIt's the story of a starving artist in NY, who basically gets "discovered" by a rich woman with nothing better to do than sleep with starving artists. That's a terrible description, I know, but I enjoyed it and read it several times.
My Sister's Keeper: A Novel
I read this book in two days and finished with my mouth hanging open. Dude.
